Join the Hansen Agricultural Research & Extension Center and the Thousand Oaks Library in this month’s program on: Plant Parts We Eat 

Join the University of California Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center in this month’s program on Kitchen Scrap Gardening. Plants are living organisms. This literature-based lesson identifies plant parts and function and explores food cycle elements from planting to waste. Includes a planting activity!   

For Grades 2nd-3rd.     

Registration required. No walk-ins. Grant R. Brimhall Library (1401 E. Janss Rd) Outdoor Patio* • Thursday, April 7 • 3-3:40pm      

  • Register once for your entire family.  

  • Each family group attending is limited to a maximum of 5 people. 

  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis and once the program reaches capacity no further registrations will be accepted. 

  • Registration does not guarantee admittance. 

  • Spots may be given away if participants are more than 10 minutes late

Registration for this event closes 2 hours before the program begins.
