Plant Parts We Eat In-Person

Join the Hansen Agricultural Research & Extension Center and the Thousand Oaks Library in this month’s program on: Plant Parts We Eat 

Through this literature-based lesson, young children will discover the life cycle of fruits and veggies from seed to plate and compare how their favorite veggies grow in different ways. Plant a seed to take home.     

For Grades K-1st.     

Registration required. No walk-ins. Grant R. Brimhall Library (1401 E. Janss Rd) Outdoor Patio* • Thursday, March 24 • 3-3:35pm      

  • Register once for your entire family.  

  • Each family group attending is limited to a maximum of 5 people. 

  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis and once the program reaches capacity no further registrations will be accepted. 

  • Registration does not guarantee admittance. 

  • Spots may be given away if participants are more than 10 minutes late
