In this series of workshops, get the knowledge, skills and workbooks to prepare for financing college. Taught by Financial Beginnings.  

*Recommended Ages 15+ for Teens or Families preparing for College

 

Financial Pathways Workshops 

Fridays, 4:30pm-5:30pm 

Thousand Oaks Library – Technology Training Room 

 

Oct 10  - Career & Education Path: Identify skills, explore salaries and careers, determine educational requirements and research schools. 

Nov 14 - Comparing Schools & Costs: Determine return on investment in education, career and school finances.  

Nov 21  - Financing School: Explore options to pay for school and discuss loans, interest, payback options, FAFSA and other alternative resources.  

Dec 5 - Managing Debt Accumulation: Learn about budget and debt accumulation, spending and saving wisely during college.  

Dec 12 - Managing Debt After School: Take a realistic look at everyday expenses after college, loan management options, managing budget and setting and achieving financial goals. 

 

Please register each person attending.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Registration does not guarantee admittance.

All programs are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.

*If registered attendees do not arrive within 5 minutes of start of program, we will accommodate waitlist and walk-in attendees.
