Cybersecurity Basics In-Person

Be safe in the digital realm and protect yourself from scams. Build confidence engaging online, whether it's visiting websites, creating and storing passwords or identifying email and other communication from potential fraudsters.

At the end of the session, learners will be able to:

  • Identify a secure website (i.e. a website that’s safe to create an account on).
  • Employ two tips from the workshop to create a strong password that is easy to remember.
  • Identify key factors in an email message that indicate a scam.
