Tuesday, June 16, 2-4pm - This will be an introduction to the writing group and guidelines. The group will brainstorm and choose one fairy tale for everyone to rewrite. We will discuss ways to create characters and conflicts in the stories.

Tuesday, July 7, 2-4pm - To be effective, we request all teen authors have their first drafts of their fairy tales done. This session will go over ways to work through writing and updating anything in their story. Focus will be on descriptions, beginnings and endings. Teens can come to the group with pieces of their story to ask for help with questions or feedback.

Tuesday, July 21 - All Short Stories are due to the Librarian for review for the Writing Group. If approved, stories will be shared with other members of the writing group.

Tuesday, August 4, 2-4pm - Teen authors will meet for the last time to talk about how they re-wrote their fairy tales so they can learn from each other from this process.

Participants must download, read and agree the online code of conduct before submitting the registration.
